Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share my new faux ad created for this month’s issue of LHC Magazine, along with a bonus set of images celebrating the imaginary cosmetics brand.
With a blank slate to start my ad for the “back to school” issue, I considered the massive cosmetics category and thought it would be fun to push the envelope in terms of color and boldness.
Here are the high-level steps
- I began by crafting a descriptive prompt that I fed into Flux Pro via Rubbrband
- Then upscaled and enhanced the images through Krea.
- After that, I described the type of company I wanted to brand in Perplexity, including imagery descriptions, and asked for multiple name suggestions.
- After a couple of rounds, I settled on Lumivelle as the name.
- As a follow-up, I asked Perplexity, using the information about the brand, to provide design suggestions for a single-color logo.
I constructed a prompt to create logo proof sheets based on the design suggestions and ran it through Flux Pro again in Rubbrband.
After a few iterations, I landed on a handwritten design that I thought fit the bill.
After vectorizing the logo in Adobe Illustrator, I made some quick edits to clean it up, and then it was off to Photoshop to combine the elements.
